Former House Speaker and Trump endorsee T.W Shannon narrowly avoided a primary this August, winning over 50% of the first round vote and winning an outright majority in most districts outside of southeastern Oklahoma. While right-wing firebrand J.J. Humphreys put on a nice show for his folks down in District 19, he struggled to broaden his appeal.
